One of my favorite parts of living in Hawaii are the year round Farmers Markets. I have been having a difficult time having enough fruits for the week, so I bulked up this weekend. – Okay, now I gotta be honest, all these greens are not for me, we have two cuties little baby bunnies, they need to eat good too. Shoots, they eat better than we do! – Having access to local fruit and vegetables daily no matter the day makes it easy to eat fresh. Do you struggle in eating greens and fruits? Speaking of #scratchandsniff…last Sunday, July 10, I was in #Kaneohe #Hawaii with my father and #family celebrating #birthdays and had an #opportunity to check out the local #KaneoheFarmersMarket inside (yes, inside) #WindwardMall. It's an #excellent Farmer's Market and is also great for the local economy because #families and shoppers can also "shop" at one of the many retailers. Like many, one of my favorite joys in life is really good #coffee ?? … Let me tell you, this #KAUSpecialtyCoffee ?? is THE #bestonthisplanet, #outofthisworld #tasty! No acidity, no need for cream or sugar, just pure deliciousness! 100% Ka'u Origin Coffee, distributed by #HawaiianStyleDelights (#KauCoffee) Calling all #CoffeeLovers!! I also love the artwork and I'll take photos of the description and origin later. Here's a brief paragraph from the side panel "Hawaii's Ka'u region is on the southeast side of Hawaii Island. Ka'u coffee farmers see the coffee as an artisanal product." I did not buy a bag of beans because it is very expensive, but worth every penny, but little did I know I would receive two bags, one of the #AviationFuel and one of the #RoyalCoffee as a birthday gift! #ThankYouSisters ?? you are very generous ? More photos to come of my trip. It is extremely meaningful that I was able to begin my 52nd year in the state I was born. First #birthday in #Hawaii since I was 3 years old.
